Return and Refund Policy

This policy applies to consumers making a distance purchase through the Les Bijoux du Nibou website.

1. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have 14 calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide a reason for their decision.

This period begins on the day after the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the product.

When a single order includes several products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day after the last product is received.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must communicate their decision before the 14-day period expires:

• by email to contact@lesbijouxdunibou.com;

• by postal mail;

• or by using the standard withdrawal form available at the bottom of this page.

The statement must clearly and unambiguously express the consumer’s decision to withdraw from the purchase.

2. Returning Products

After communicating their decision to withdraw, the consumer has an additional 14 calendar days to return the products.

Consumers are advised to use a shipping method that provides proof of shipment and, where necessary, proof of delivery.

Unless otherwise stated by Les Bijoux du Nibou, the direct cost of returning the products is the responsibility of the consumer.

3. Condition of Returned Products

The consumer may inspect and handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning, in the same way as they could reasonably do in a physical store.

Consumers are advised to return the product carefully protected and, whenever possible, in its original packaging. However, the absence of the original packaging does not automatically remove the consumer’s right of withdrawal.

The consumer may be held liable for any reduction in the product’s value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.

Any amount deducted for a reduction in value must be justified and may be deducted from the refund.

4. Refunds

In the event of a valid withdrawal, Les Bijoux du Nibou will refund all payments received for the products concerned, including the standard delivery costs originally paid.

When the consumer has expressly selected a delivery method that is more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery option offered, the additional cost of that delivery method will not be refunded.

The refund will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which Les Bijoux du Nibou is informed of the consumer’s decision to withdraw.

Les Bijoux du Nibou may withhold the refund until the products have been received or until the consumer provides proof that they have been shipped, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original order, unless the consumer expressly agrees to another payment method, provided that the refund does not result in any additional fees.

5. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may not be exercised, in particular, for:

• products made according to the consumer’s specifications;

• creations that have been clearly personalized at the consumer’s request.

Sale items and discounted products remain subject to the right of withdrawal unless they fall under one of the legal exceptions listed above.

6. Defective or Non-Conforming Products

The right of withdrawal is separate from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity.

When a product is defective, damaged during delivery, or does not match the order, the consumer is invited to contact Les Bijoux du Nibou at contact@lesbijouxdunibou.com and provide:

• the order number;

• the product reference;

• a description of the issue;

• and, where useful, one or more photographs.

Any costs required to process a product that is confirmed to be defective or non-conforming will not be charged to the consumer.

7. Exchanges

An exchange may be offered by mutual agreement, particularly when another item or an equivalent product is available.

However, the consumer retains the right to a refund when the legal conditions relating to withdrawal or the statutory guarantee are met.

8. Standard Withdrawal Form

This form may be used, but its use is not mandatory.
